Fast-paced, exciting, and played with just seven players per side, 7s rewards speed, fitness, creativity, and teamwork. It’s a different challenge—but one the Quins have embraced.
Today, our men’s and womxn’s programs consistently compete among the best in Texas and the surrounding region, while earning opportunities to test themselves against the nation’s top clubs.
Competing on the National Stage
The highest level of club sevens in the United States is earned—not given.
The Dallas Harlequins Womxn’s Premier Sevens program has qualified for the USA Club Rugby National Championships for two consecutive seasons, establishing itself as one of the country’s top emerging programs.
Last year, the Men’s Premier Sevens side joined them, giving the Harlequins representation at Nationals on both the men’s and womxn’s side.

Now, both squads are chasing a return trip and looking to qualify for a third consecutive Womxn’s Nationals appearance while sending both Premier teams back to compete against the nation’s best.
For our players, Nationals isn’t simply a tournament—it’s the reward for months of hard work and an opportunity to represent Dallas on one of the biggest stages in American club rugby.
Excellence Throughout the Club
Success at the Premier level is only part of the story.
The Harlequins also field competitive Open Sevens sides, giving developing players meaningful opportunities to compete and continue their growth.

2019 TOLA Champs
Our Open programs compete throughout the TOLA (Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas) circuit, where both the men’s and womxn’s teams have established themselves as perennial contenders.

A Tradition of Excellence
The recent success of our Sevens program isn’t the beginning of the story—it’s the latest chapter in a tradition that spans decades.
The Dallas Harlequins have long been recognized as one of the premier Sevens clubs in the country, with multiple generations earning the opportunity to compete on the national stage.
Throughout our history, Harlequins teams have represented Dallas at the highest levels, including:
- The Creme Team qualifying for National Championships during the 1990s.
- Dallas Harlequins Elite earning a National Championship berth in 2005.
- The legendary “Baby Quins” squad qualifying in 2010, showcasing young talent that would go on to do big things in rugby.
- Womxn’s Premier qualifying for Nationals in 2024 and 2025.
- Men’s Premier returning to Nationals in 2025.
Each generation has added its own chapter to the Harlequins legacy, building on the accomplishments of those who came before.
